Sun4All releases a Toolkit to help Local Governments tackle Energy Poverty

Although the Sun4All project has officially concluded, its impact continues to resonate with the release of a valuable new resource for local governments. The Creating Proactive Solutions to Tackle Energy Poverty - A Toolkit for Local Governments serves as a bonus contribution from the project, designed to empower municipalities and stakeholders with the knowledge and tools to continue the fight against energy poverty.

Building on the innovative framework developed during Sun4All, this toolkit offers practical, step-by-step guidance tailored to local and regional governments. With a focus on improving access to affordable, clean energy, the resource helps municipalities address energy inequality, promote social inclusion, and advance their climate goals by implementing solar energy initiatives. The toolkit goes beyond theory, providing real-world examples, policy insights, and methodologies that can be adapted to local contexts.

While Sun4All may be over, its legacy lives on through this toolkit, which equips local governments with replicable solutions that align with community needs. Public utilities, energy agencies, social housing associations, and energy cooperatives are all encouraged to leverage this resource to make a lasting impact on energy poverty in their regions.
