Launch of Sun4All Community of Practice

The Sun4All project consortium selected 10 promising cities and utilities to join the Sun4All Community of Practice. Over the coming months, they will be mentored by four European cities and regions (Coeur de Savoie (FR), Barcelona (ES), Rome (IT), and Almada (PT)) that are early adopters of the Sun4All financial support scheme for renewable energy access.

The members of the Community of Practice will learn from the experience of the Sun4All pilots and establish a social dialogue within their community and with the potential beneficiaries. They will aim at designing their own innovative financial schemes to address energy poverty, develop the use of renewable energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

We believe that local communities are key to achieving a sustainable and just energy transition, and we are excited to support our new Community of Practice members in their efforts for their communities. By sharing their knowledge, skills, and experience, we hope to create a network of change makers who will inspire others to take action on energy poverty and sustainability.

Are you also interested in replicating the Sun4All scheme in your city or region? Give us your contact details to join the Sun4All Capacity Building and Knowledge Sharing Programme (starting in May 2023)!
